With extensive domain experience in corporate finance, Robert
Reis provides the Funk Ventures advisory board with significant
turnaround and M&A expertise.
Mr. Reis has utilized his bottom line approach, task
accomplishment and corporate finance knowledge to build, and in
some cases rebuild, value for companies he has overseen. For the
past eighteen years, Mr. Reis has been President of private
equity firm Bristol Capitol, where he increases shareholder
value through turnarounds, financial restructurings, Mergers and
Acquisitions and the sourcing of debt & equity financing.
Notable projects include Environmental Protection Systems,
Jamestown Sterling & Bent Bros, International Health Care and
Fairfield Paper.
Mr. Reis has been a founder, early stage manager, or buyer of
several companies including iLanguage.com, Star Cinema Nocal,
American Baltic Capital, Kramer Scrap and Capidyne Systems. He
holds a BSME from the University of Illinois, an MBA from Loyola
University Chicago, and has completed Harvard Business School’s
OPM program and teaches finance classes for the University of
Phoenix.
